Sterility
Primary sterility means that married women,
who live together with their spouse with normal genital functions for over two
years, fail to be pregnant without contraception. And secondary sterility refers
to the fact that women fail to be pregnant over two years after previous delivery
or miscarriage, without contraception.
Main Points of Diagnosis
Women
who are unable to be pregnant for 2 years after marriage, or after the previous
pregnancy, with normal intercourses and without contraception, can be considered
to have sterility provided that her husband has normal genital function.

1. Deficiency of the Kidney
Main Symptoms
and Signs: Sterility long after marriage, delayed menstruation, little and pale
menstrual blood, dark and gloomy complexion, lassitude in loins and legs, sexual
hypoesthesia, pale tongue with white fur, deep and thready or deep and slow pulse.
Therapeutic Principle: Warming the kidney and nourishing the liver.

dark color, fullness sensation in the breast prior to menstruation, irritability
and tendency to anger, normal or dark red tongue with white and thin tongue coating,
and taut pulse.

circulation of liver-qi

dizziness, palpitation, fullness in the chest, nausea, white and greasy tongue
coating, and slippery pulse.
